Luminaris by Juan Pablo Zaramella

A beautifully executed stop motion animation by Argentinean director and animator Juan Pablo Zaramella, . Juan tells the story of a man living in a world controlled by light and his desire to escape. The short film took over 2 years to make and was shortlisted for Best Animated Short at the 2011 Oscars.

This kicks ass. Everyone should watch this.
The music is sweet too.
